So thankful to have been a part of Garman Hill’s open house featuring two different styled mock weddings with a wonderful line up of various vendors! Back in September we got to be a part of such a special wedding! It’s been an honor over the years to be the florist for this incredible family. As I worked with Kelsey to bring her flower dreams to life for her wedding, she was curious about how some things would look. I get it, it can be hard to visualize an art form as unique as flowers. Her vision included all white flowers, little to no greenery, and a good amount of texture. I sketched out this rough drawing of the ceremony arch to share with her what I saw in my head. We talked about being able to repurpose the piece as a whole for the sweethearts table and I suggested making a floor piece that could be easily moved to the front of the table. Looking back, it’s fun to see the vision I had in my head on paper and then in real life. I’m so grateful to work with brides who entrust me with their vision. It’s a true passion to create something unique for each of my brides.
